Adam Tennant
Principal and Co-founder
Adam Tennant is a Principal and Co-founder of WestGate Ventures. He has over 30 years of industry experience and is considered a leader in Bay Area infill development. With both his attention to detail and his responsiveness to landowner goals, Adam has a proven track record of creating value for real estate assets via land planning and overall community design. He looks for site solutions that benefit both the landowner and the community at large and has spent much of his career working with community stakeholders, including local businesses, adjacent property owners, and elected public officials, in order to find optimal development scenarios.
Prior to WestGate Ventures, Adam served as Senior Vice President/Managing Director for SummerHill Homes, a nationally recognized, award winning residential developer in the Bay Area.
Adam directed the overall financial performance of SummerHill communities throughout the Bay Area. His primary responsibilities included obtaining community entitlements, forecasting and budgeting, land planning and architecture, and coordination and implementation of sales, marketing, and construction efforts.
Under his direction, SummerHill Homes won several regional and national architectural and land planning awards with his unique site solutions of infill development opportunities.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Business from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Haas School of Business from the University of California at Berkeley.

Jon Revells
Principal and Co-founder
Jon Revells is a strategic, self-driven, and decisive senior executive with a 30 year history of planning and development, construction, and real estate, with profit and loss responsibility from start up companies to large subsidiaries of diversified, multi-billion dollar corporations. He has proven himself in developing top line growth and expansion, while excelling at acquisitions, dispositions, negotiations, project management, and financial analysis within diverse organizations.
As a founding member of WestGate Ventures, he leads all acquisition and disposition efforts for WestGate’s builder partners, land owners, investors and WestGate’s own accounts. He is instrumental in increasing values for his clients and partners by repositioning and/or replacing underutilized land assets to help boost the asset side of the balance sheet. In addition, he helps his partners to aggressively, yet responsibly add asset positions to insure future growth in their pipeline.
As Managing Director / Senior Vice President of SummerHill Homes, a $200M private homebuilder and subsidiary of The Marcus and Millichap Companies, Jon led the land acquisition and development/construction teams to help SummerHill become one of the largest and most well respected developers in Northern California. Jon was also Executive Vice President of Real Estate Development and Sales for Castle and Cooke Resorts, with top and bottom line responsibility for development anchored by two four-star resorts on the Island of Lana’i in the State of Hawaii.
Jon graduated with honors at San Jose State University earning his Bachelors of Science in Finance with a Minor in Economics. He was also the recipient of the Alpha Al Sirat award, given to the outstanding undergraduate business student. Jon is also licensed as a California Real Estate Broker.

Wilson Hu
Vice President
Wilson Hu is Vice President of WestGate Ventures. He brings to the company over 20 years of experience in the real estate development industry. Mr. Hu specializes in project conceptualization, best use analysis, community outreach, and entitlement of new development projects.
Prior to WestGate Ventures, Mr. Hu was a Development Manager at SummerHill Homes, a nationally recognized, award-winning residential developer in the Bay Area. Mr. Hu managed all phases of residential development from initial site acquisition, project conceptualization and due diligence through construction, sales and project close-out.
Prior to SummerHill Homes, Mr. Hu served as a consultant for The Concord Group, a real estate advisory group in San Francisco. There, he specialized in market and financial analysis of residential and mixed-use development ventures throughout the western United States.
Mr. Hu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley.
